PROMPERÚ, Peru’s export and investment promotion agency, has granted well-deserved recognition to Samantha Castellano, director of Soft Cotton Sourcing, in the “Woman Exporter” category. This recognition is part of the “Ruta Exportadora” business management and advisory program, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.
This program has stood out for its work in strengthening the capabilities of Peruvian companies and supporting them in the internationalization of their products. The “Export Route” has benefited almost 20 thousand companies nationwide until December 2022, and has contributed to consolidating 2,420 companies as regular exporters, allowing them to reach more than 150 international markets.
During the recognition ceremony, the award-winning companies received the licensing of the emblematic Peru Brand, a badge that will accompany them in the promotion of their products internationally. In addition, the work of strategic allies such as the Association of Exporters (ADEX), the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL), the National Society of Industries (SNI) and the Swiss Cooperation in Peru (SECO) were highlighted, who have contributed to the boost Peruvian exports in 2022.
