Paris, September 16, 2025. – Peru made a remarkable presence at Première Vision Paris 2025, one of the world’s leading textile and fashion industry events, with the participation of 16 companies showcasing emblematic fibers such as alpaca and Pima cotton, recognized worldwide for their quality, authenticity, and sustainability.
The concept of “quiet luxury”—exclusive garments that do not rely on logos or ornaments to express sophistication—was at the center of the Peruvian proposal this year. This is a luxury that is felt through the softness, durability, and sustainable origin of our natural fibers.
Among the exhibitors was SoftCotton S.A.C., represented by its director Samantha Castellano Borda, reaffirming the company’s commitment to ethical textile production aligned with the highest international standards of sustainability.
“Pima cotton and alpaca are not just raw materials; they are the reflection of a country that combines tradition, innovation, and technical excellence. At SoftCotton, we believe in a textile model that respects origin, values human work, and positions Peru as a strategic partner for international fashion,” said Castellano during the fair.
A Country Committed to Responsible Luxury
Peru’s participation was supported by PROMPERÚ and covered by international media such as Agencia EFE, which highlighted on its website and YouTube channel the growing importance of alpaca and Pima cotton in the European market.

In addition, outlets like ABC Spain emphasized how Peru is consolidating itself as a provider of fibers that not only represent excellence, but also a genuine commitment to sustainability and social development.
A Legacy That Transcends Generations
Peru concentrates 85% of the world’s alpaca production and offers Pima cotton with extra-long fibers considered among the best in the world. These materials—perfected over generations and cultivated with respect for nature—now stand as ambassadors of a country that bridges ancestral heritage with contemporary innovation.
For SoftCotton, participating in Première Vision Paris 2025 is another step forward in its mission to demonstrate that sustainability and excellence are not passing trends, but structural pillars of the future of fashion.
